GoDaddy Launches .cn For Customers Worldwide

HONG KONG, Feb. 29, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- GoDaddy (NYSE: GDDY), the world's largest technology provider dedicated to small businesses, has brought the total number of domain name extensions it offers to 421 by adding .cn to its lineup. The .cn domain name is the country code for China and represents a growing Internet audience looking to get online.

Across Asia, there are more than 1.6 billion Internet users¹. Of those, more than 600 million are in China and the country has registered more than 16 million .cn domain names². China also has a 50.3³ percent Internet penetration rate, showing the country will continue to grow.
