Lyago Student Group Attend 14-Day Deep Learning at Cambridge Girton

CAMBRIDGE, England, July 29, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Lyago Student Group, organized by Fullbloom Sky left for the U.K. on 17 July 2016 to attend the 14-day Cambridge Dream Summer Programme at Girton College of Cambridge University. The programme distinguishes itself from course objectives which aim to help learners gain deep learning experience and develop vital skills valued by world-class Universities and employers.

The first week of the programme proved to be a great success and was an unforgettable experience for all students. Apart from Singapore, students also came from Mainland China, Britain, Italy, Germany and Poland to form a real international community. They have been working closely to address the challenges assigned to them, including working in teams to design and print 3D objects with smart materials. They crafted and pitched their business ideas in the Dragons' Den in an attempt to gain maximum investment in 30 minutes.

During the second week of the program, our international teams and British students continued their daytime workshops and lectures in mixed teams as well as evening activities and excursions. They had lots of fun interacting together in a variety of settings, from robotics to performing Shakespeare and Scottish dancing. Both the local Cambridge students and overseas students will gain the most from shared learning and increased cultural understanding.

A certificate will be awarded to all of our participants at the end of the programme, together with a 'Go Lead' award from Sports Leaders UK and a personal report written by course tutors and mentors. Outstanding learners may also receive reference letters from Cambridge instructors.
