Sept. 5^th Green Pramuka Square Opening First of Many Texas Chicken Restaurants Coming to Region

ATLANTA, Sept. 6, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Following a busy spring and early summer for new Texas Chicken® restaurant openings throughout the Asia-Pacific region, the brand is reasserting its strength and market position with a new franchisee entry to the Indonesian market in the nation's capital of Jakarta. The new Texas Chicken coming to the bustling Green Pramuka Square district just outside the city's downtown center will be a flagship restaurant in the brand's new STAR design, operated by a new team that has recently been highly active and successful in the region. Scheduled to open on Wednesday, September 5^th, Texas Chicken at Green Pramuka Square will be the first fried chicken brand to come to the relatively newly developed, fast-growing middle-class area. The restaurant will also be conveniently close to a popular pedestrian mall, apartment buildings, schools, offices, and a major highway – Jakarta's Inner Ring Road – making it a highly visible acquisition for the brand and its regional franchisee.

The official grand opening of Jakarta's first Texas Chicken will take place on September 5^th, during the restaurants normal operating hours between 10 am and 10 pm. The 130-seat restaurant's address is Green Pramuka Square – Upper Ground Floor Unit 16-17 | Jl Ahmad Yani Kavling 49 in Jakarta.

In addition to a fresh new restaurant image and operational footprint to enhance guests' restaurant experience, the revamped menu will include many products that are being introduced for the first time in Jakarta. Bigger portions of Texas Chicken's signature crunchy, juicy Original and Spicy fried chicken, Tender Strips®, and the brand's world-famous scratch-made Honey-Butter Biscuits will be joined by international favorites including the innovative Mexicana Burger & Wrap, a new range of sides like Mashed Potatoes and Coleslaw, and a new range of desserts like the Ice Cream Shortcakes.
