Dangdang to Operate Exclusive Book and Media Channel on QQ Buy

BEIJING, June 29, 2012 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- E-Commerce China Dangdang Inc. ("Dangdang") (NYSE: DANG), a leading business-to-consumer e-commerce company in China, today announced the entry into an agreement that gives Dangdang the exclusive right to operate a book and media channel on Tencent's QQ Buy platform. Tencent Holdings Limited ("Tencent") (SEHK 00700) is a leading provider of Internet and mobile and telecommunications value-added services in China.

Pursuant to the agreement, Dangdang will operate a bookstore channel on QQ Buy, making its books and media merchandise available to the users of Tencent. The newly launched bookstore channel will feature Dangdang's complete product selection of 790,000 stock-keeping units (SKUs) for books and media products. Dangdang will commit to nation-wide fulfillment and delivery as well as customer service.
