Huawei Wins Twice at NetworkWorld Asia Awards

SINGAPORE, Oct. 30, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Huawei was awarded best Data Center Virtualization/Integrated System and High-availability Storage Solution at the 2015 NetworkWorld Asia 2015 Readers' Choice Product Excellence Awards which were held in Singapore last night.

The Data Center Virtualization/Integrated System award recognizes solutions that provide the ability to virtualize and integrate servers, storage and networks. Huawei's cloud operating system includes powerful virtualization and resource pool management functions, comprehensive cloud infrastructure components and tools and open APIs. Huawei's FusionSphere OS integrates the FusionCompute virtualization platform and FusionManager cloud management software. As a result, a wide range of enterprises can horizontally consolidate physical and virtual resources in data centers and vertically optimize the service platform.

Huawei received the High-availability Storage Solution award, because their solutions provide converged functionality that maximizes performance and capacity utilization and meet a wide range of needs, including entry-level, mid-range, and high-end enterprise applications. Some of flexible storage products such as OceanStor 5500v3, converge SAN and NAS features to maximize versatility, while others converge primary and backup storage, with the convergence of solid-state and hard-disk drives dramatically boosting performance.
