District of Arizona Jury Trial Verdict

PHOENIX, Jan. 9, 2012 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Integrated Technology Corporation, a leading provider of probe card inspection systems and electronic testing equipment, announced on December 22, 2011 that a jury has returned a verdict in the patent infringement suit between Integrated Technology and Rudolph Technologies, Inc.

On December 20, 2011 a jury in the United States District Court for the District of Arizona entered a verdict of patent infringement against Rudolph Technologies for their manufacture, use, sale and offer for sale of their entire series of probe card inspection systems, including PrecisionWoRx VX4, ProbeWoRx 300 and PrecisionPoint VX3 systems. The jury awarded Integrated Technology lost profit damages of approximately $15.5 million for Rudolph Technologies' infringement and found that Rudolph Technologies willfully infringed U.S. Patent No. 6,118,894.

Integrated Technology has informed the Court of its intent to seek a permanent injunction against Rudolph's manufacture, use, sale or offer for sale of the infringing products.  Mr. Rod Schwartz, Vice-President of Integrated Technology stated that, "We are obviously pleased with the jury's verdict and consider the '894 Patent one of our most valuable assets."
