(In response to media reports stating that Caterpillar is planning an equity investment in Anhui Xingma Automobile Group)
PEORIA, Ill., June 1 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ -- Recent media reports have said Caterpillar intends to purchase a 20% stake in Anhui Xingma Automobile Group Co Ltd. Both Caterpillar and Anhui Xingma Automobile Group seek to clarify that there are currently no plans for Caterpillar to make such an equity investment in Anhui Xingma Automobile Group.
