SYDNEY, April 6, 2011 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- The global law firm Jones Day announced today that the Firm has advised Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) on its proposed acquisition of iSOFT Group Limited, for a total consideration of Australian $437 million ($452 million US). CSC, which is listed on the NYSE and has a market capitalization of approximately US$7.6 billion, is a global leader in providing technology-enabled solutions and services through three primary lines of business. iSOFT Group Limited (ASX: ISF) is the largest health information technology company listed on the Australian Securities Exchange and among the world’s biggest providers of advanced application solutions in modern healthcare economies.
The acquisition will be effected by way of a court sanctioned scheme of arrangement. The consideration comprises A$182 million for the iSOFT equity and A$255 to repay iSOFT’s outstanding debt.
