Perfect World Wins Multiple Awards at 2007 China Game Industry Conference

(Nasdaq: PWRD) ("Perfect World" or "the Company") today announced that it won 11 awards at the 2007 China Game Industry Conference, held by The Publishers Association of China and supported by the Game Committee of The Publishers Association of China, "Digital Times Review" magazine owned by CCID Group, and Suzhou Industrial Park Administrative Committee. The conference was held in Suzhou, China from January 15 to January 17, 2008. The awards won by PW Network marks the company’s achievements in terms of its products and individuals, and progress as an enterprise.

The conference is one of the most prominent of the Chinese game industry, and is the fourth one since its inception. The conference symbolized a round up of the Chinese game industry in the past year. The "Golden Phoenix Award," which honors the most exceptional enterprises and individuals in the Chinese game industry in the past year, is also one of the most prominent and influential annual award in the industry.

As one of the most outstanding online game service providers in 2007, the Company won eleven awards in total within eight major categories.
