The project will continue the best traditions of the forum RAO/CIS Offshore, which has been held for more than 20 years in St. Petersburg, and the world-famous network of exhibitions on shipbuilding and marine technologies, Marintec.

The Exhibition is formed actively. The event aroused great interest in the industry market, and currently companies that have already indicated an intention to participate include Rosneft, Gazprom, Gazflot, United Shipbuilding Corporation, the largest oil and gas companies of Russia, Roller, Vineta, Electropribor, scientific centers and design bureaus. Foreign participation will include joint exhibits from China, South Korea, Norway and other countries.

Offshore Marintec Russia's business program includes the plenary session and four sessions on the following issues:

  • Creation of a modern fleet for the development of the continental shelf of Russia;

This year, Offshore Marintec Russia will be held jointly with the Gas Forum, which will undoubtedly enhance its part of the business program.

Running alongside the exhibition, the 4th St Petersburg International Gas Forum will be held with the support of Gazprom. The principal objective of the Forum is to provide a platform for substantive dialogue between international gas companies and key partners for large-scale projects: engineering companies, investors, innovative developers and equipment suppliers. The programme has been designed to consolidate Russia's status as one of the key players in the global gas market and to formulate strategic solutions to developing and optimising the resource base of the global economy. Events at the Forum are organised and take place with the participation of gas industry companies and associations, together with the assistance of leading industry experts. The Forum also includes a large exhibition programme focusing on current trends in the gas industry, as well as on new projects to develop innovative technologies in the oil and gas sector.

Offshore Marintec Russia 2014 will be held in St. Petersburg, the maritime capital of Russia. Here, the largest Russian port presents all aspects and types of shipbuilding: world-known design institutes and design offices, yards and industrial enterprises account for 90% of the capacity of scientific and design potential of the industry and 30% of the total shipbuilding of the country.

The event will be held in ExpoForum, a new and modern venue in St. Petersburg. The complex will provide all necessary infrastructure and hold events according to international standards.
