Buhler Group Delivers Keynote Speech at 65th Anniversary of China-Switzerland Diplomatic Relations

BEIJING, Sept. 21, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- On September 14, by invitation of Swiss Ambassador to China Mr. Jean-Jacques de Dardel, Mr. Dieter  Voegtli, CEO of Buhler Asia and the representatives of Buhler customers visited the Swiss embassy in China in celebration of the 65th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between both countries.

The bilateral relations between China and Switzerland have improved continuously since being established in 1950 and have expanded from sectors such as fashion, design and culture to encompass politics, the economy, education, technology and the environment.

As a representative for Swiss enterprises in China, Mr. Voegtli said during his speech: "Like the old friendship between China and Switzerland, the friendship of Buhler with China has also already lasted more than 30 years. In China, people are using Buhler products and equipment every day and we are fortunate to have been allowed to contribute with our knowhow and our process technology to the development of Chinese Industry."

Later in the afternoon, Mr. Voegtli and Mr. Dardel were interviewed together by the media and in the evening, a group of highly talented young Swiss and Chinese designers staged the first ever "Shaping Vision" fashion show, which was officially sponsored by the Swiss embassy in China.
